Manfaat dan Tantangan Teknologi Informasi pada Pendidikan di Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi di sekolah dasar menawarkan banyak keuntungan dan menghadirkan tantangan atau kelemahan. Untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang komprehensif tentang pro dan kontra pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam pendidikan dasar, tinjauan literatur ini menganalisis berbagai studi penelitian, kerangka teori, dan bukti-bukti empiris. Tujuannya untuk memberikan wawasan yang berharga kepada para pendidik, pembuat kebijakan, dan pemangku kepentingan tentang potensi manfaat dan tantangan penggabungan teknologi informasi ke dalam kurikulum sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Melalui hasil tinjauan literatur yang komprehensif, beberapa temuan utama muncul. Ada pro dan kontra terkait pemanfaatan teknologi informasi untuk memastikan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah dasar, namun secara keseluruhan potensi dampak positifnya cukup signifikan. Dengan memanfaatkan pengalaman belajar yang lebih baik, akses ke sumber daya global, kesempatan belajar yang dipersonalisasi, dan lingkungan belajar kolaboratif yang ditawarkan oleh teknologi, sekolah dasar dapat menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang dinamis dan menarik bagi para siswanya. Namun, penting untuk mengatasi tantangan seperti ketergantungan yang berlebihan terhadap teknologi, keterbatasan infrastruktur, informasi yang berlebihan, dan masalah kesetaraan. Dengan mengadopsi pendekatan yang seimbang, menyediakan dukungan dan sumber daya yang diperlukan, menumbuhkan keterampilan literasi digital, dan mempromosikan praktik inklusif, sekolah dasar dapat memanfaatkan kekuatan teknologi informasi sambil mengurangi kelemahannya.
