Mengembangkan Kreatifitas Anak Melalui Model Konseling Crhomotherapy Dengan Media Benang Pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun
Abstrak
Creativity is one of the important aspects of early childhood development that needs to be developed through enjoyable learning activities appropriate to children's characteristics. One approach that can be used is the chromotherapy counseling model using thread as a learning medium. This study aims to describe the process of developing the creativity of children aged 5–6 years through the chromotherapy counseling model using thread media. This study employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The subjects of the study were children aged 5–6 years. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The activities utilized colors in chromotherapy and thread media through activities such as arranging, organizing, weaving, and creating various forms according to the children's imagination. The results showed that the use of the chromotherapy counseling model with thread media provided enjoyable learning experiences and supported children in expressing their ideas, imagination, and feelings, as well as producing diverse creative works. These activities also encouraged children to be more willing to try new things, choose colors, solve simple problems, and develop creative thinking skills. Therefore, the chromotherapy counseling model assisted by thread media can be an alternative activity to support the development of creativity in children aged 5–6 years through a creative, expressive, and enjoyable play-based process.
