Pelatihan Manajemen Fasilitas dan Keselamatan Rumah Sakit untuk Meningkatkan Kesiapsiagaan Staf
Abstract
Healthcare Facilities and Safety Management (HFSM) is a crucial element in minimizing hazard risks in hospital environments. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of HFSM training based on adult learning principles (andragogy) and the Kirkpatrick evaluation model in enhancing the knowledge, abilities, and skills of Charitas Hospital Palembang staff. The method
employed was a pre-experimental design (one-group pre-test post-test) combined with community education, involving 65 participants from diverse professional backgrounds (physicians, nurses, midwives, administrative staff, and tenants). The activity was conducted in a hybrid format on April 23, 2026, with a duration of 9 hours. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to measure the percentage increase in scores. Results demonstrated significant improvement with mean pre-test score of 53.0 increasing to 79.2 on post-test (anincrease of 26.2 points or 49.4%). The percentage of participants with "Good" and "Excellent" scores increased from 1.5% to 58.4%, with a 100% pass rate (score >60). The implication of this activity is the creation of unified perception and emergency preparedness among all hospital elements, supported by a strong theoretical foundation in patient safety culture. In conclusion, structured HFSM training supported by measurable evaluation represents an important investment in building a safety culture in healthcare institutions.
