Abstract

rapid development of information and communication technology has changed how people access and use financial services, especially through financial technology (fintech). However, the increasing use of fintech is not always supported by sufficient understanding, particularly among high school students as part of Generation Z. This community service activity aims to improve students’ understanding of fintech and digital financial innovation. The method used is an educational-participatory approach by combining material presentation with an interactive quartet card game. The activity was conducted face-to-face and involved active student participation. The results show that before the activity, students were generally only familiar with e-wallets for daily transactions. After the activity, students showed better understanding in recognizing different types of fintech platforms, their functions, and potential risks. In addition, student participation during the learning process also increased. This activity also produced learning materials and media that can be reused in similar programs. Overall, interactive learning methods are effective in helping students understand fintech concepts and support their readiness to face the development of digital financial systems.
